Jackson Bogan Named Agent of the Year

Jackson Bogan

Jackson Bogan, IIAI Agent of the Year

The Mitchell Agency’s Jackson Bogan was the recipient of the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana’s (IIAI) 2017 Agent of the Year Award.  Jackson, accompanied by his wife, Jenny, father, Jack, and mother, Connie, received this honor at the IIAI Annual Convention held November 13-15 at The Westin Hotel in Indianapolis.

Outstanding Performance and Achievement
This award recognizes the outstanding performance and achievement of an individual who is an IIAI agent member. This individual must be a licensed agent and contribute to the agency’s performance through production and management activities.

When asked what contributes to his success, Jackson remarked, “At the Mitchell Agency it is a total team effort. Every person who works with us is an essential part of the team. We hire great people, give them what they need, and get out of their way.”

“Take Care of Your Existing Clients”
Jackson focusses on commercial insurance and handles agency administration duties as the Mitchell Agency’s Vice President. His philosophy on gaining new clients, which he learned from his father, is simple, “If you take care of your existing clients and work hard for them, the word will spread, and new business will come.”

In addition to his agency duties Jackson serves on the Liberty Mutual Midwest Advisory Council; is the current chair of the IIAI’s government affairs committee; and is an incoming member of its board of directors.
